There was a madness spreading around the world, but it wasn't zombies. Instead, it was a global war that threatened to end mankind, if not the world itself. Time seemed like it was coming to an end, but then everyone was warned. The world would end soon, whether they were fighting or not. So the soldiers returned home to their families, wanting to spend what remaining time they would have together until the end came.
When it did, it was nothing like they had expected. What seemed and sounded like nukes were deployed around the world from an unknown nation. The missiles hit and their massive destruction spread over many homes in over a thousand-mile radius. But instead of the usual radiation, a virus followed. To everyone's surprise, the dead became the undead. Some of the living mutated into gruesome creatures so deadly, they were almost never seen in public.
With everyone struggling for survival against the zombies and mutants, they founded complexes, shelters to house the survivors and anything they could use to fight against the undead. Jonathan Grudge founded the Atlanta complex, while Reba Storms founded the New York complex. No one knows if there are any other survivors in the USA, but they're hopeful. Right now, they need to fight for their own survival.

We are accepting any originals, and may have several canons up at a time. We're a zombie-apocalyptic RPG, for all levels of RP'ers. We offer RP'ing lessons to beginners if they ask. We started in November 2009, but had a few issues between then and now, but we're back up and running smoothly. We hope you would take the time to at least look around and see if you'd like to join.
