Heaven is in ruins. The Host have fled to Earth, where they must confront their own disorganization and inexperience; Earth's other inhabitants, both magical and mundane; and the pitfalls of occupying a human body that may have its own agenda. Earth to Heaven Replies is a contemporary fantasy game set on modern-day Earth, with an epic scale and a worldwide scope. We take inspiration from various scriptural and occult sources, the comic books Hellboy and Promethea, the CW show Supernatural, Neil Gaiman's American Gods and Murder Mysteries, Stephen Brust's To Reign in Hell, Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files, and the tabletop RPGs Nobilis and Exalted, among other media. Character types include angels; human clergy, occultists, psychics, and regular joes; and nearly any sort of mythological monster that strikes your fancy.
