Set in modern-day Seattle, SDBD is a message board based RPG inspired and based loosely on the works of Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, and Rachel Caine, with a hint of Laurell K. Hamilton thrown in for good measure. We've got a variety of playable races, some blends of the above authors, and some completely original. Currently, we've got half demons, sorcerers, witches, vamps, lycans, ghosts, Djinn, Wardens, and more. We've also got totally unique member created takes on Vampires, Gargoyles and Fae races, which are completely unlike anything you'll find on other roleplaying sites. [/quote]
I'm trying to get it back to life again, and could use some people who like to write and have a couple free hours a week at least to stop in and post. Nothing major. I'm not being terribly strict on character types either so if nothing on the races page grips your fancy please feel free to tell me any ideas you may have for a potential character type. I'd just REALLY love to see some people playing again, and to get to play again, myself.

Disregard anything in the rules that may seem harsh, as well as the 'inactivity' policy, because it's all worded that way to discourage a lot of the spammers and trouble makers we've run across over the years. I truly just want to see a couple new members join the ranks, so like I said, just check it out and join if it sounds like something you'd enjoy.
