Myths and Legends.......
"The first time i ever encountered a mythical creature was when i was 16. I was at home in my quite bedroom as the night fell on the small town of Ravenwood. My eyes were heavy with countless nights of no sleep. I drug my feet into my room and put my Pj's on for the night. The wind pounded against the side of my house and i took a glance out the window. it was beyond dark outside, the sky was painted black with flecks of stars layering the chilly sky. My eyes shifted to the dark woods, it's long arms stretched out among the sky swaying in the violent breeze. I took in a deep breath, but it caught in my throat as i saw the distant figure in the woods. It's yellow eyes bore through my window and it's large body stood tall and proud. There in front of my window was a wolf. it was black and massive. i swallowed and opened my window, i was greeted by the crispy Wyoming air. The full moon's beam was casted down and shown the silhouette of the wolf, it's fur looked long and smooth and i could see the white clouds come from his nose. I turned for one moment to get my binoculars to get a better view, but i was too late, instead of finding a wolf, there was now the outline of a man, tall and stocky standing where the wolf should have been. I froze in my place and drop the binoculars to the ground. the man started to move, his eyes never left mine, he was closer now. He had no shirt on and his black hair covered his face. But it didn't shield them burning gold eyes. the same eyes as the black wolf's. He gave a small nod and in a blink of an eye he was gone. just like that.
Sure i know what your thinking, you were delusional and sleepy, there was no way you could have seen a wolf turn into a man, they are just ancient myths. But i know for a fact that they are real. I know, because maybe i found out myself that they exist among us, in the shape of humans, protecting us and caring for us. but we don't know it, we are blinded by their charm. That night was unforgettable. Don't worry , you are in no harm here in the small town of ravenwood, This place my be the most safe place you could ever live. And no worries, the wolves don't hurt humans for they are humans themselves."
That was my mother , she always read me stories, but this one has always been my favorite. I believe her, they are here in this town watching us and protecting us. i have seen one to, outside my window speeding through the quite night. They are not cursed, they are blessed.
